Thursday's official New Moon after-party in New York was missing two key players: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

While their castmates Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Elisabeth Reaser, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed (with boyfriend Paris Latsis) partied at crowded Manhattan club The Box with the likes of Fergie, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr and Olivia Palermo, Pattinson and Stewart bailed for a more private night out.

"Rob and Kristen got wind of the scene at The Box from everybody else," a source tells Usmagazine.com. "They decided not to go. They were burnt out from all the media."

Instead, the couple ventured elsewhere.

First, they reunited with castmembers (including Taylor Lautner) at a more intimate, no-press gathering at members-only club Soho House. Pattinson (wearing a baseball cap) and Stewart (in tight jeans and a leather jacket) took "turns in the smoking room," an eyewitness says.

Next, Stewart and Pattinson made a break for it, leaving their colleagues behind. They arrived at another club, Avenue, around 1:30 a.m. and took a table on the mezzanine -- keeping a security guard close by for "more private time" a source says.

Among the small group joining the couple at Avenue was rocker Joan Jett (who Stewart portrays in the film The Runaways). Pattinson -- who is also a musician -- was particularly fond of Avenue's rock-heavy playlist spun by DJ Mike Nouveau. "Robert kind of sang along to the words in the songs he knew," including "Common People" by Pulp, an observer tells Us.

Adds another eyewitness of Pattinson and Stewart: "They sat very close to each other [and] looked very happy together. They chatted together the entire time." When the pair left around 3am, "they were holding hands," an eyewitness says.

It's their second night in a row savoring the Big Apple together.

On Wednesday, following talk show appearances, the pair joined a large group at downtown eatery Gemma. "They were giggling a lot, and sitting very close," an eyewitness tells Us, adding that Pattinson switched places "so he could sit next to Kristen."

New Moon premieres worldwide today. Despite poor reviews, the Twilight sequel has already set box office history, breaking all records for midnight runs with an estimated $26.3 million.

NEW YORK (Reuters Life!) - Audrey Hepburn once declared her look was "attainable" and an upcoming auction of some of the fashionable film star's wardrobe will make that possible.

Some 35 dresses, gowns, separates and other items will be sold at a London auction on December 8 at the largest sale of clothing that belonged to the actress, who won an Oscar for her first starring role as a runaway princess in "Roman Holiday,

Hepburn, who is also known for roles as divergent as cockney Eliza in "My Fair Lady" and a terrorized blind woman in "Wait Until Dark," had "a purity and an innocence and a vulnerability that made her especially attractive," said Kerry Taylor, the fashion auctioneer who is offering the collection.

"She personified that svelte, chic, minimal, European look of the post-war period," Taylor said at an exhibition of the items. "And she was a firm believer that less is more."

Among the highlights is a haute couture cloque silk dress by Givenchy, the designer with whom Hepburn was most closely linked, which she wore to promote "Paris when it Sizzles."

"It was a terrible film, but the clothes were marvelous," Taylor said.

The dress is estimated to sell for $17,000 to $25,000, but could fetch far more. Hepburn's clothes are not often available at auction. Recently offered designs sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The sale stemmed from a June phone call to Taylor by Hepburn's lifelong friend, Tanja Star-Busmann, to whom the actress gave much of her clothing over the years before her death in 1993 at age 63.

The actress always "hated waste," Taylor noted.

She said 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale held in conjunction with Sotheby's will be donated to the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund and UNICEF, for which she worked during her final years.

Another highlight is a black cocktail dress estimated at about $30,000.

Worn by Hepburn in the glossy 1966 caper "How to Steal a Million," the Givenchy Chantilly lace number will afford the buyer a primer in how to look like a million -- or at least a bit like Hepburn.

Kelly Osbourne may have given up the bottle - but she is adamant her fella should be allowed a drop. So much so that she has shelved her wedding until 2011 so fiancé Luke Worrall is old enough to drink in the US.

Kelly - six years older than her 19-year-old boyfriend - was expected to tie the knot early next year. He has already spent thousands on a diamond engagement ring.

But Kel told TV Biz she would be waiting until Luke hits 21, the legal age for drinking in the US, which isn't until Boxing Day next year.

She said: "Luke and I are engaged and we'll get married when I want to. But he isn't even 21 yet, so he can't drink in America, so what's the point in getting married until he can?"

And Kelly admitted she was worried she may soon be back on the booze herself - despite having been sober for months.

She is currently starring in Dancing With The Stars - the US equivalent of Strictly Come Dancing, which airs on UK digital channel Watch on Fridays.

Kelly is one of the show's hot favourites but despite her success she still fears she will take up drink and drugs once the show ends in December.

She said: "When I'm busy and not left with me in my own head, I'm fine. I worry about when the show stops - slipping back into negativity, drink and drugs. I'm taking precautions so I won't get in that position. My life when I drink is so dark and miserable."

Kelly - daughter of rocker Ozzy - has been off the booze and drugs since February after her last spell in rehab.

She sought help after downing up to 60 powerful painkillers a day, washed down with spirits.

The star, who would often drink a bottle of vodka in one sitting, said: "People get drunk and they think they're having the time of their lives, but they could have just as much fun if they were sober. If most people asked themselves why they drank, they probably wouldn't have an answer."

She is in regular touch with junkie pal Amy Winehouse - and revealed the singer still struggles to live a clean life.

Kelly added: "Everybody has their own journey and path in life and you can't choose theirs for them, but you can give guidance. I'm not a preacher but if I can share my experience with someone, I will. But people won't get sober or clean unless they want to."

Tina Fey took a shot at her bosses Wednesday night, saying: "NBC is sadly the fourth-place network; actually, we're in ninth place if you count the radio stations ahead of us right now." The 1,200 guests at the Ad Council gala at the Waldorf laughed raucously as Fey continued, "I really believe that if everyone in this room would watch NBC for one night then that would be a 40 percent [ratings] increase." Talking about the plan of Philadelphia-based Comcast to buy a controlling stake in NBC Universal, she said: "It's leaving me thinking: Will I have to change the name of my show from '30 Rock' to 'Industrial Park on the Schuylkill River'?" She also couldn't resist taking a shot at alter-ego Sarah Palin, saying: "They made a porn movie about Sarah Palin and the same actress, Lisa Ann, played me in the porn version of '30 Rock.' Weirdly, of the three of us, Lisa Ann knows the most about foreign policy."

Stefan and Damon are about to get a father on The CW's The Vampire Diaries... and he looks an awful lot like Dexter's Harry Morgan. Actor James Remar, 55, who first stared playing Dexter's dad in 2006, will be flying to Atlanta on Dec. 2 to begin his role as Giuseppe Salvatore, papa to bloodsucking sons Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder). The busy actor also plays a big role in Dexter's bloody Dec. 13 season finale, and that same night, plays a father mourning a child in Lifetime's original holiday tearjerker, The Christmas Hope.
